Le Kinkeliba
The American Friends of LeKinkeliba (AFK) brings vital medical care and sanitary conditions to people in rural regions of Senegal, West Africa. AFK was established by our client, The Joseph and Anni Albers Foundation which acts as AFK’s umbrella organization. AFK asked us for a new site that’s easy to update in-house and serves as a fundraising and outreach tool.
Online Fundraising
Many of our clients use their website as a fundraising tool (See here
and here) and we work closely with them to make
sure that their web presence sets a tone that’s direct but not pushy. The
best way to encourage people to donate to your cause is to communicate your
mission in a manner that’s clear, informative and inspirational. For AFK
this means showing images that illustrate how their work helps specific
individuals in Senegal. Their new site shows the tangible results of AFK’s
presence in Africa and leads potential donors to conclude that AFK is worth
their financial support.
