Designing a Healthcare Brand
Patient Collect is a software suite that offers payment collection services for healthcare providers. Our client Alacriti asked us to create a distinct logo and brand for their new service as part of an overall brand and website launch. Our design solution references the original blue and orange color scheme from Alacriti's parent brand and combines it with contemporary typography and a custom mark.
Most doctors, who are the software's main customers, don't want to think about payment collection so the new logo couldn't look like part of a typical banking or collection brand. The circled "+" mark is plays off the "health cross" symbol that is the de facto representation for health care but updates it by referencing the plus symbol found on modern calculators.
We researched calculator type to arrive at the right balance for the mark. When combined with the rest of the key calculator functions, the mark can be used in marketing and advertising materials on its own without supporting text.
